Job summary

Empower Retirement is seeking a Benefits Consultant to support our premier executive offering. You will partner with Executive Planners and Benefits Planners to service high-net-worth participants, answer questions, and coordinate planning opportunities with a white-glove approach.

You will build relationships, manage inquiries, and help translate complex retirement and executive benefit options into clear, actionable plans while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning or wealth management.
• FINRA Series 7 registration and NASAA Series 63 registration.
• FINRA Fingerprinting is required.
• Knowledge of financial wellness and investment management strategies.
• Strong client relationship management and customer service skills with high-net-worth clients.
• Ability to research and resolve inquiries with internal partners.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with highly compensated executive participants.
• Coordinate participant meetings with Executive Planners and Benefits Planners.
• Handle account servicing and transaction requests, educate participants on options.
• Coordinate with internal specialists on complex participant needs while owning the participant experience.
• Maintain knowledge of executive benefits and supported plans.
• Support planners with financial planning activities and administrative tasks.
• Document participant interactions and planning opportunities in CRM systems.
• Partner with planners and internal teams to deliver a coordinated, white-glove experience.
