Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality seeks a skilled bartender for a new concept at a five-star hotel on Park Avenue in Manhattan's NoMad district, opening early 2027.

Prepare beverages, take orders, deliver exceptional service, and maintain bar operations. You will review menus, inform guests of specials, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards while combining team collaboration and hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years bartender experience or equivalent Tao Group Hospitality experience.
• Minimum 2 years of food and beverage experience.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.
• Comprehensive knowledge of classic cocktails.
• Basic familiarity with wine varietals and classic regions around the world.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all beverages for guests and servers.
• Take orders, provide full beverage service, monitor guest experience.
• Present menus, answer questions, suggest items, know specials and prices.
• Solicit allergy or dietary restrictions from each guest.
• Enter orders into POS accurately and handle payments.
• Ensure delivery of drinks to guests at bar/lounge and maintain bar cleanliness.
• Maintain organized liquor displays and par levels, and stock as needed.
• Work as part of a team and follow management directions.”
