Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Tacoma, WA is seeking an Associate Vice President of Enterprise Care Management to provide executive leadership across the enterprise care management continuum. The role drives standardized models, governance, and performance metrics to improve outcomes and financial performance.

The AVP leads system-wide transformation initiatives, partners with physicians and executives, and oversees workforce planning, resource stewardship, and evidence-based practice implementation

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related healthcare field is required.
• Active RN license or LICSW preferred as applicable.
• Ten years of progressive healthcare leadership experience required.
• Five years of senior leadership experience in care management or related areas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for enterprise care management across inpatient, ambulatory, post-acute, and value-based care.
• Design and implement an integrated operating model for care management.
• Establish system-wide standards, governance, workflows, and metrics for care management.
• Lead initiatives to improve patient progression, reduce avoidable utilization, and length of stay.
• Partner with clinical and administrative leaders to align care management with quality and financial goals.
• Oversee workforce planning, leadership development, and performance expectations for care management leaders.
