Grand Rapids Community College seeks an Associate Dean to lead the School of STEM, coordinating across Biological Sciences, CS, Mathematics, and more. The role focuses on student success, inclusion, and community impact, with collaboration across department heads and program directors.

The position manages scheduling, workloads, faculty evaluations, and curricular processes, supporting fundraising and accreditation efforts while ensuring timely, compliant operations campus-wide.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; doctoral degree preferred.
• At least three years’ leadership and oversight of educational programming or related experience is required.
• Teaching experience in a college or university setting is required.

Responsabilités

• Develop class schedules in collaboration with Department Heads and Program Directors.
• Manage faculty loads, adjunct assignments, and course scheduling.
• Oversee faculty evaluations, tenure and promotion processes, and professional development.
• Support curricular processes and college-wide assessment efforts.
