The Executive Assistant is responsible for a variety of complex executive responsibilities for the Vice President of the Business Unit and other key staff members of the leadership team. This position requires communication with high-level internal and external contacts, exposure to and management of sensitive information, and a high level of tact, diplomacy, initiative, planning ability, anticipation, discretion and sound judgment. This position frequently functions as an extension of the Vice President and presents \"the face of the Business Unit\" to ADI C-Suite leadership, customers and employees; therefore, the candidate must have strong executive presence and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate possesses solid business acumen, is able to connect multiple inputs and separate pieces of information into a cohesive picture and execute a set of actions in a timely and appropriate manner.
This position calls for a candidate with high situational adaptability who can pivot quickly and maintain composure in an environment of rapid change. The successful candidate will be able to anticipate challenges and proactively manage them, and will be proactive and independent in solving problems and finding ways to improve and expand the role.
