The Lafayette Catholic School System (LCSS) is a five-campus, preschool-through-grade 12 system that provides a Christ-centered education to students in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. More than 1,000 students are enrolled systemwide, with more than 3,500 alumni. Catholic education has been part of the Greater Lafayette community for nearly 160 years. Greater Lafayette is Indiana’s fastest-growing community and home to Purdue University. Six local parishes financially support the school system.
The Executive Assistant provides executive support for the Office of the President. The Executive Assistant serves as a primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the President. The Executive Assistant is a liaison to the LCSS Board of Directors and committees, principals, pastors, and senior management teams; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts; and manages special projects. The Executive Assistant also partners with personnel across the organization, including school leaders and the development, enrollment, and business offices. The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working in a mission-driven, results-driven, and community-oriented environment. The ideal individual will exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The Executive Assistant should be able to work independently on projects from conception to completion and must be able to meet deadlines and goals while handling a variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
