Executive Assistant to CEO – IT Tech Consulting Firm

Compensation: Up to $150,000 (depending on experience)

Location: El Segundo, CA (Hybrid – 3–4 days in office, 1 day remote)

GSM Virtual Assistants is partnering with a growing IT staffing and consulting firm to find a seasoned Executive Assistant to support their dynamic CEO. This is a direct hire with the company and presents a unique opportunity to become a long-term strategic partner to a visionary leader in the tech space.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced, polished, and proactive Executive Assistant who can act as a true right hand to the CEO. This is not an entry-level role— a minimum of 5+ years supporting C-level executives is required, preferably in the tech, consulting, or finance sectors. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of executive assistant expertise with the flexibility to handle personal tasks as needed.

The CEO is looking for a trusted partner, someone who is both tactical and strategic, deeply reliable, and able to keep pace with a high-performing, fast-moving executive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive & Personal Support
  • High-volume calendar management and meeting coordination
  • Travel planning – both personal and business, domestic and international
  • Expense reconciliation and reporting
  • Coordination of personal tasks and errands as needed
  • Supporting the CEO across both executive functions and lifestyle logistics

Operational Efficiency

  • Acting as a liaison between the CEO and key internal/external stakeholders
  • Helping ensure priorities are managed, follow-ups are executed, and nothing falls through the cracks
  • Handling confidential information with a high level of discretion

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting C-level executives
  • Background in tech, staffing, or finance preferred
  • Experience managing complex calendars and travel itineraries
  • Based in the El Segundo, CA area (office near Rosecrans Ave)
  • Availability to work 3–4 days in office / 1 day remote weekly
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Discretion, reliability, and follow-through are a must
