Job summary

Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania and North Central West Virginia is a nonprofit organization providing workforce development and community programs through donated goods and services. This role supports the Retail Division with high‑level administrative coordination, payroll oversight, and expense tracking to keep operations running smoothly.

The Retail Executive Assistant works closely with the Chief Retail Operations and Sustainability Officer and VP of Donated Goods and Retail to align

Qualifications

• Bachelors with 4+ years experience or equivalent education path.
• Experience in administrative support, retail operations, or office management.
• Experience supporting senior/executive leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Payroll, expense tracking, or operational coordination experience preferred.
• Experience leading a small team or administrative function is strongly desired.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP/payroll systems a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and discretion; nonprofit experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct administrative support to senior leaders including scheduling and travel logistics.
• Coordinates development and maintenance of administrative tools and forms.
• Acts as liaison between retail leadership and other departments.
• Compiles reports on payroll, labor allocation, expenses, and divisional performance.
• Maintains current understanding of agency policies and procedures.
