Job summary

Elwyn seeks an Assistant Principal to oversee the Davidson Approved Private School (APS) Program, guiding academic activities and school operations. You will ensure curriculum-based instruction, attendance reporting, and progress monitoring, while leading staff in accordance with Elwyn's CORE Values.

You will collaborate with the Education leadership team to set schedules, coordinate buses, and foster parent engagement, ensuring safety and high-quality instructional programs across the site in

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or related field required.
• PDE Certification in Special Education required; PDE Principal Certification preferred.
• At least five years of teaching experience in special education.
• Three years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee school day operations for assigned program(s).
• Lead committees and workgroups; set agendas and follow-ups.
• Ensure IEP timelines and compliance; collaborate with coordinators.
• Manage safety drills and crisis response planning.
• Coordinate staff development and training aligned with policy.
