Job summary

CRH Americas Materials, The Woodlands, TX, seeks an experienced Executive Assistant / Office Manager to support the South Central Division's Presidents and leadership team. Qualifications

  • Experience managing complex calendars, travel, leadership meetings, events, and confidential information.
  • Office-management experience strongly preferred in large, complex organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive and leadership support for South Central Division Presidents and functional leaders.
  • Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, resolve scheduling conflicts, and prioritize commitments.
  • Coordinate domestic travel, lodging, itineraries, meetings, and related arrangements.
  • Prepare, review, and submit expense reports, invoices, and admin transactions.
  • Draft, format, edit, and distribute executive correspondence, presentations, agendas, and reports.
  • Prepare leaders for important meetings with pre-reads and background information.
  • Monitor requests, decisions, and action items to support follow-through.
  • Build trusted relationships across CRH and with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Oversee South Central Division office operations in The Woodlands and coordinate with Facilities/IT/Security.

The Executive Assistant / Office Manager provides high-level executive, organizational, and office-management support for the South Central Division's Business Unit Presidents and designated Functional Leadership team. Based in The Woodlands, Texas, this highly visible role serves as a central point of coordination across the leadership team, helping leaders operate efficiently, stay aligned, and remain focused on the Division's most important business priorities.

The successful candidate will be an experienced executive-support professional who anticipates needs, manages competing priorities, exercises exceptional judgment, and handles sensitive information with the highest level of discretion. This role is expected to build a scalable administrative support model and may lead an additional administrative assistant as the organization grows.

Key Responsibilities
Executive and Leadership Support
  • Provide administrative support to South Central Business Unit Presidents and assigned Functional Leaders.
  • Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, resolve scheduling conflicts, and help leaders prioritize commitments based on business needs.
  • Coordinate domestic travel, including transportation, lodging, detailed itineraries, meeting schedules, and related arrangements.
  • Prepare, review, and submit expense reports, invoices, and other administrative transactions accurately and on time.
  • Draft, format, edit, and distribute executive correspondence, presentations, agendas, reports, and meeting materials.
  • Prepare leaders for important meetings by gathering pre-reads, organizing background information, and confirming logistics.
  • Monitor leadership requests, decisions, commitments, and action items to support timely follow-through.
  • Anticipate the needs of supported leaders and proactively address scheduling, communication, travel, and administrative requirements.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive business and employee information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Build trusted relationships with leaders, employees, administrative partners, and external stakeholders across CRH.
Leadership Team Coordination
  • Coordinate recurring leadership-team meetings, business reviews, planning sessions, offsites, workshops, and special events.
  • Manage meeting logistics, including invitations, agendas, conference rooms, technology, catering, transportation, and accommodations.
  • Capture decisions, notes, and action items when requested, and coordinate follow-up with responsible owners.
  • Maintain leadership calendars, distribution lists, organizational charts, contact information, and shared team resources.
  • Coordinate leadership visits, onboarding activities, employee meetings, town halls, and team-engagement events.
  • Partner with administrative professionals across CRH to coordinate enterprise meetings, events, and cross-functional priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, leadership routines, meeting effectiveness, and information flow.
Office Management
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the South Central Division office in The Woodlands.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for office operations, visitors, vendors, and building-management partners.
  • Maintain a professional, organized, efficient, and welcoming office environment.
  • Coordinate office supplies, equipment, conference rooms, catering, mail, deliveries, and general office services.
  • Partner with Facilities, IT, Security, Procurement, and other teams to resolve office-related needs.
  • Manage office vendors, invoices, service requests, and recurring administrative activities.
  • Support workspace planning, office moves, new-hire workspace preparation, and workplace projects.
  • Develop and maintain office procedures, administrative standards, and shared resources.
Future Team Leadership
  • As the South Central organization grows, provide direction and oversight to an additional administrative assistant.
  • Help establish clear administrative responsibilities, service expectations, and consistent processes across the office.
  • Delegate work appropriately while maintaining accountability for overall service quality and follow-through.
  • Support the development and effectiveness of a scalable administrative support model.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, office management, or a related field preferred.
  • Eight or more years of progressively responsible executive administrative experience, including significant experience supporting multiple senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex calendars, executive travel, leadership meetings, events, and confidential information.
  • Office-management experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in a large, complex, geographically dispersed, or matrixed organization preferred.
  • Previous experience coordinating or leading the work of other administrative professionals preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, time-management, and follow-through skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage the needs of multiple senior leaders with competing priorities and limited supervision.
  • Sound judgment and demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential information.
  • Professional presence and the ability to interact effectively with executives, employees, customers, vendors, and visitors.
