Job description

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

As our Executive Assistant, you will support the VP of Global Nike Direct. You will work closely with the leadership team, Global and Geography Nike Direct partners, cross-functional teams across the Marketplace, and a network of administrative professionals to enable strong connectivity, disciplined operating rhythms, and effective decision-making across a complex global organization.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for an experienced Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, global, and highly matrixed environment. You will be a trusted partner to the Vice President, Global Nike Direct—bringing sound judgment, anticipation, discretion, and exceptional attention to detail to every interaction. You are energized by connecting people and priorities, creating clarity from complexity, and establishing the operating discipline that helps a senior leader and leadership team perform at their best. You independently manage competing priorities, follow through from request to resolution, and adjust quickly as business needs evolve across time zones. You communicate with confidence and care, build credibility with teammates at every level, and handle highly sensitive information with the utmost discretion.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
  • Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience, including experience supporting a Vice President or comparable senior executive in a global, matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex calendars, priorities, and operating rhythms across multiple functions, geographies, and time zones
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the judgment to tailor communications for senior executives, teams, and external stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen, organizational skills, and ability to synthesize information, identify priorities, and anticipate needs
  • Proven success building trusted relationships with executive leaders, cross-functional partners, Geography teams, and administrative peers
  • Ability to operate independently, exercise sound judgment, and move work forward through ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving capability, and consistent follow-through
  • Experience planning leadership meetings, global team forums, offsites, and large-scale team moments, including budget and vendor coordination
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, and virtual meeting tools; experience using Microsoft Copilot or other AI-enabled productivity tools is a plus
  • Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential business, organizational, talent, and personnel information
  • Ability to flex working hours occasionally to support global business needs, travel, and critical leadership moments
  • Previous Nike experience or familiarity with Nike Direct, retail, digital commerce, or a global consumer marketplace is strongly preferred
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As a trusted partner to the Vice President, Global Nike Direct and an integral member of the leadership team, you will create the structure, connectivity, and follow-through that enable the leader and organization to operate effectively. You will be responsible for:

  • Executive Calendar and Priority Management: Own a highly complex calendar across global time zones, strategically balancing business priorities, decision points, preparation time, travel, and team accessibility. Anticipate and resolve conflicts with minimal leader involvement.
  • Leadership Team Operating Rhythm: Coordinate the cadence of Global Nike Direct leadership meetings, business reviews, planning moments, and key decision forums. Partner with stakeholders to shape agendas, organize pre-reads, capture actions, and drive timely follow-through.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Connectivity: Serve as a trusted point of contact for Global, Geography, and cross-functional partners. Triage correspondence, surface priorities and risks, coordinate responses, and ensure the right people and information are connected at the right time.
  • Executive Meeting and Content Support: Coordinate materials for executive leadership meetings, quarterly business reviews, Geography connections, and other high-visibility forums. Draft, edit, organize, and quality-check presentations, briefing documents, agendas, and communications.
  • Global Travel and Expense Management: Plan complex domestic and international itineraries, anticipating visas, ground transportation, time-zone requirements, meeting logistics, and contingencies. Prepare and reconcile expenses accurately and on time.
  • Team Meetings, Offsites, and Events: Plan and execute leadership meetings, global team forums, offsites, and culture-building moments, including venue, budget, vendor, technology, catering, agenda, and participant logistics.
  • Business and Project Support: Support priority initiatives and special projects by coordinating milestones, stakeholders, information, and deliverables. Proactively identify gaps, dependencies, and actions needed to maintain momentum.
  • Administrative Network Leadership: Build strong partnerships across the administrative community, coordinate across leadership calendars and events, share relevant information, and help establish consistent ways of working across Global Nike Direct.
  • Team Operations and Onboarding: Support onboarding and transitions for leadership team members, coordinate access and equipment needs, maintain key team information, and help new teammates quickly connect to the organization and its operating rhythms.
  • Confidentiality and Judgment: Maintain the highest level of discretion with sensitive business, organizational, talent, and personnel matters. Exercise independent judgment and represent the leader and organization with professionalism and care.
