Executive Assistant (Floater) - Private Equity NYC

Company Overview:

Our client, a reputable financial services buy-side fund located in the heart of NYC, is seeking skilled AA / EA personnel to directly support many departmental needs across the firm. This role is a contract-to-permanent hire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct administrative support to MDs, VPs, and Associates/Analyst teams including scheduling and calendar management.
  • Use MS Outlook, Word, and Excel to manage communications, documents, and reports with accuracy.
  • Act as a primary PoC for internal and external communications, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and managing phone and email inquiries.
  • Book travel and interact with 3rd party vendors to accommodate travel needs.
  • Assist with special projects and tasks, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Process expense reports utilizing SAP Concur.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of strong, relevant experience in an administrative role within Financial Services or an adjacent industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and multitasking skills.
  • Professional communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and prioritize effectively.

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly pay rate, benefits during contract period. Strong base salary, bonus, benefits + perks upon conversion to FTE.
