Overview

Executive Assistant, Engineering (Bellevue) at Shopify. Shopify moves at an extremely fast pace. As an Executive Assistant, you will maintain, organize and juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be a calendar and communications wizard, stay in touch with your leaders, be proactive, and gain a solid understanding of the business as it evolves so your leaders and teams focus on the highest priority needs on any given day.

Responsibilities

• Passion for Admin: Keep leaders on track by organizing meetings and product reviews, managing multiple calendars, sharing updates and reminders, and informing them of critical discussions and priorities. You will book travel, manage complicated expenses and administratively support in-office events in your business area.
• Mind The Gap: Identify gaps in admin resources and create, update and share them where they’re needed.
• AI: Use AI tools for day-to-day work, explore new tooling to streamline workflows, unlock efficiencies, and collaborate with colleagues to teach and learn.
• Projects and Initiatives: Follow key projects and surface obstacles early so Leads and teams can take action. Help run research projects and special initiatives and propose ideas.
• Culture Builder: Increase engagement and team alignment, build community and culture in real life and in digital spaces.
• Flexible: Provide support to other leaders, teams or projects when high priority needs arise.
• Execute as a champion assistant and handle other duties as needed to support leadership.

Compensation and Benefits

• The estimated compensation range for this role is $90,000 to $175,000, including salary and equity. Pay is based on factors such as knowledge, skills, and experience.
• Other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total package, in addition to medical, dental, vision, 401K, and other benefits.
