Job summary

UMass Chan-Lahey is seeking a regional campus leader to oversee the delivery, development, and QA of the UME portfolio, ensuring alignment with LCME standards. This role blends academic leadership with clinical participation.

You will lead curriculum implementation across Early Clinical Learning, Clerkships, and Leadership Tracks, coordinate accreditation activities, mentor faculty, and split time in clinical practice at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center (about 50%).

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required; Master's in Education strongly preferred.
• Board certified; eligible for Massachusetts medical license.
• 4+ years of leadership in LCME-accredited undergraduate medical education, curriculum design, and assessment or equivalent in COCA-accredited college of osteopathic medicine.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery, development, and QA of the UME portfolio aligned with LCME standards.
• Lead curriculum implementation across Early Clinical Learning, Clerkships, and Leadership Tracks.
• Manage academic and operational processes including curriculum committees and accreditation.
• Recruit, mentor, and prepare faculty leaders for innovative curriculum delivery.
• Maintain an active clinical practice at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center (~50% time).
