This is an in-office position at our 101 E. 15Th Street, Austin, TX location. Work hours are flexible Monday - Friday, starting as early as 7:00am, ending no later than 6:00pm.

What You Will Do
The Executive Assistant II provides advanced (senior-level) professional assistance support to the Division Director for the Information Innovation & Insight Division. Work involves overseeing high-level administrative operations of an agency or division. May plan, assign, and/or supervise the work of others. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO
- Maintain Division Director's calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinates calendars with other TWC divisions and executives, as well as with organizations and agencies external to TWC.
- Review the Division Director's e-mail, receive calls for the Division Director, and take appropriate action on the Division Director's behalf.
- Manage the Division Director's schedule to include calendar appointments, conferences, and travel activities, including coordinating and making all travel arrangements.
- Develop and maintain tracking process for division assignments, department projects, assigned action plans, and external inquiries.
- Monitor the progress of assignments and ensures that deadlines are met. Coordinates work between department areas and managers within the division.
- Compile, prepare, verify, process, and maintain confidential agency documents, complex correspondence, reports and forms.
- Assist in compiling and analyzing data and reports.
- Assists in conducting data analysis, visualization, and interpretation to effectively communicate agency and division objectives, tasks, and decisions to division staff.
- Provide administrative and technical assistance to the Information Innovation & Insight Division Director.
- Communicates administrative policies, procedures, standards, and methods on behalf of the Division Director.
- Interprets policies and procedures and makes administrative decisions as appropriate.
- Assist the director with human resource management actions.
- Perform related work as assigned.
YOU QUALIFY WITH
- Six years of full-time experience in a responsible position which provided thorough knowledge of agency programs and services; business management practices, clerical administration, and procedures; or experience in organizing and coordinating support services or program operations which included analyzing work problems and interpreting complex policies and procedures.
- Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
