RP is seeking an Executive Assistant to deliver exceptional administrative support at a high level within the Small Business Administration. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity located in Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities

  • Independently analyze program-related data, inputs, and reports and escalate relevant information to leadership
  • Proactively partner with SBA leadership team to drive effective management and operations as well as execution of strategic initiatives
  • Manage cross-functional responsibilities with other SBA staff members to drive agency-wide programs to success
  • Hands-on management of multiple workstreams simultaneously, including tracking and managing the next steps
  • Partner with leadership to develop agendas and meeting materials, create project timelines, track follow-up items, and ensure completion among all responsible parties
  • Clearly and independently communicate (written and verbal) status updates, issues, and potential solutions (inclusive of executive-level meetings and engagements)
  • Administrative duties include calendar management, expense management, and travel planning
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of relevant administrative experience. Preference will be shown to candidates with executive-level administrative experience.
  • Experience in major enterprise operating environments and/or highly matrixed environment
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools
  • The ability to work for any US employer without requiring sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree and/or PMP certification preferred
