Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Remote Executive Assistant (must be based in Vancouver, Washington or Portland, Oregon). This is a remote role with occasional in-person meetings and events, and candidates must have prior experience supporting executives at a high level.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Executive Assistant will provide critical administrative and governance support to the Executive Director and governing Board. This role ensures smooth Board operations, compliance with public records regulations, and organized executive support. It’s ideal for a highly organized professional with prior EA experience who thrives in structured, mission‑driven environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate Board and committee meetings, including agendas, materials, minutes, and follow‑ups
  • Manage executive calendars, communications, and confidential correspondence
  • Administer public records requests and ensure compliance with Washington State regulations
  • Maintain organized document and records management systems
  • Support the Executive Director in operational tasks and special projects
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior experience as an Executive Assistant supporting executives and/or governing boards
  • Strong written communication and research skills
  • Knowledge of Washington State Public Records Act and records retention guidelines
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and discreet
  • Proactive, politically astute, and comfortable navigating compliance requirements
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
