Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking an experienced executive assistant to the CFO and leadership team, providing high-level administrative and operational support, including complex calendar management, travel planning, and expense reporting.

You will coordinate leadership meetings and Audit Committee activities, handle confidential information, and serve as a liaison to board members, auditors, investors, bankers, and vendors while supporting quarterly and annual processes and governance

Qualifications

  • AA/BA degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of administrative experience; at least 4 years supporting C-level executives in a public company.
  • Experience supporting Board/Board Committees, auditors, investors, bankers, or senior external stakeholders preferred.
  • Biotech/life sciences/pharma or other regulated/public company experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong confidentiality judgment.
  • Excellent calendar management, prioritization, written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, Box/SharePoint, expense systems, travel tools, and Board portal/governance platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the CFO and CFO Leadership Team, including complex calendar management, meeting coordination, travel planning, expense reporting, and prioritization.
  • Coordinate leadership team meetings (agendas, materials, action items, follow-ups, and offsites).
  • Coordinate Audit Committee-related activities (logistics, timelines, materials, approvals, follow-up items, and corporate record maintenance).
  • Handle highly confidential and sensitive information related to financial results, corporate strategy, compensation, organizational changes, corporate financings, investor matters, audits, and Board discussions.
  • Serve as a key liaison to internal/external stakeholders, including Board members, auditors, investors, bankers, consultants, and vendors.
  • Support quarterly and annual business processes (Board/Committee preparation, earnings activities, audit timelines, SOX documentation, budget cycles).
  • Prepare, edit, format, and proofread executive-level presentations, reports, agendas, correspondence, and meeting materials.
  • Manage logistics for internal and external meetings (executive, investor, auditor, Board sessions, executive offsites, cross-functional meetings).
  • Support special projects, due diligence, process improvements, documentation management, engagement, onboarding, and other initiatives.
