Job summary

Parallel Bio in the San Francisco Bay Area seeks an experienced Executive Assistant/Chief of Staff to support one founder. You will own the calendar, coordinate travel, and manage inboxes, acting as a filter to protect the founder's time and priorities.

You will sit in high-stakes meetings, track follow-ups across sales, hiring, and product, draft communications, and prep board and investor materials. As the company grows, you'll build systems for operating cadence, decision logs, and follow-up

• You've operated at the right hand of an executive before — as an EA, chief of staff, or founder's associate — and you know the difference between managing a calendar and managing an executive's leverage.
• You anticipate problems before they're escalated to you, and you've got the judgment to know what needs the founder's attention today versus what can wait a week.
• You write clearly, you're airtight on details, and you don't need everything spelled out to know what "good" looks like.

Job: You will run the operating rhythm for one of Parallel's founders — owning their calendar, travel, and inbox not as scheduling but as a filter for where their time and attention go. You'll sit in the room for high-stakes meetings, track follow-ups across sales, hiring, and product, and make sure nothing the founder commits to falls through. You'll draft communications, prep board and investor materials, and represent the founder's priorities to the rest of the company when they're not in the room. As Parallel scales, you'll build the systems — meeting cadences, decision logs, follow-up tracking — that let one founder operate like ten.
