The Department of Design & Construction is seeking an Executive Assistant for the Commissioner's Office to provide administrative and operational support to the Office of the Commissioner. Reporting to the Senior Executive Assistant to the Commissioner, this position serves as the primary administrative backup for the Commissioner's Office and supports the day‑to‑day operations of the office.
The Executive Assistant will coordinate office operations by handling incoming calls and correspondence, managing shared office responsibilities, scheduling meetings on behalf of office staff as needed, tracking assignments, maintaining records, and assisting with general administrative functions. The position will also serve as the Technology & Innovation (T&I) Liaison, including opening and tracking service tickets, coordinating new hire technology requests, and maintaining office equipment and technology records.
In addition, this position will serve as the Employee Engagement Coordinator for the agency by assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, wellness activities, and agency‑wide events. The Executive Assistant will coordinate event logistics, communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders, manage event materials, track participation, and provide administrative support for engagement programs that foster a positive workplace culture.
The Executive Assistant will also provide administrative support to the Senior Executive Assistant and the Commissioner's Office leadership team, as assigned, and perform other related duties to ensure the efficient operation of the office.

Strong client service ethics, oral and written communication skills are required, as well as excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
