Job summary

Specialized Bicycle Components is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Founder/CEO and the broader organization. The role is anchored at our Morgan Hill, CA headquarters and involves heavy calendar management, travel coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3–5 years supporting C-level executives and strong organizational and discretion skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of administrative support with a C-level executive is strongly preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Pro, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, Concur, Workday and Artificial Intelligence applications and tools.
• Extensive experience in booking domestic and international travel.
• Must have strong organizational skills an independent proactive approach and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Founder's global calendar, coordinating time zones across USA, Asia, Europe, etc.
• Email triage for the Founder and tracking outstanding action items.
• Build presentation collateral for team meetings; create agendas and distribute notes.
• Book domestic and international travel; reconcile Concur expenses and report approvals.
• Coordinate effective communications with cross-functional teams around the globe; demonstrate proactive, AI-assisted problem solving.
• Provide personal assistance 1/3 time: bill pay, manage properties, tax/loan payments, personal IT updates.
• Provide full support to the Founder in the absence of the Executive Assistant.
• Occasionally provide support to other teams.

Executive Assistant

Specialized is searching for a focused and friendly individual to join our team as an Executive Assistant to our Founder/CEO and offering support to the broader organization.The position is based at our global headquarters in Morgan Hill, CA and reports to the Founder's Executive Assistant.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

• Assist with managing the Founder's global calendar, coordinating time zones in the USA, Asia, Europe, etc.
• E-mail triage for the Founder, tracking outstanding action items
• Ability to build presentation collateral for team meetings
• Create agendas, take and distribute notes, and follow up on action items
• Booking domestic and international travel
• Concur expense reconciliation and report approvals on behalf of the Founder and advisors
• Effective communications with cross-functional teams around the globe
• Demonstrate proactive and creative approaches (AI) to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
• Conserve the Executive’s time by reading, researching, collecting and analyzing information as needed, in advance
• Occasionally provide support to other teams
• Take on the role of personal assistant (1/3 of time): bill pay, to some extent - manage his properties, quarterly tax payments, loan payments, personal app management, personal computer updates.
• Provide full support to the Founder in the absence of his Executive Assistant

WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

• Available for administrative support on weekends when needed

Pay

Below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in the following locations:

California

Base Pay Range: $68,640-$91,126

At Specialized, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and will depend on your work experience, skills, certification, and location.
