Job summary

Spectrum in Colorado is seeking an Executive Assistant to support Vice Presidents and senior leaders. You will manage calendars, travel, communications, and key projects, acting as the primary liaison with executives and staff.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of executive administration experience, superb communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. This role emphasizes confidentiality, initiative, and independent work, with on-site office duties.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Executive Administration experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage executives' correspondence, including emails, calls, letters, and visitors; prioritize key issues.
  • Prepare executives for travel, events, and speaking engagements with relevant information and content.
  • Organize complex documents requiring multiple software applications integration.
  • Provide support for word processing, PowerPoint, and spreadsheets.
  • Prepare and maintain confidential information and data.
  • Schedule and maintain calendars, travel itineraries, and related arrangements.
  • Plan and coordinate comprehensive events, including attendees, logistics, and catering.
  • Oversee administrative functions for the office if needed.

Job description

This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

Are you passionate about providing executive-level support and streamlining daily operations for senior leadership? As an Executive Assistant at Spectrum, you'll manage schedules, travel, communications and special projects for Vice Presidents and above while representing Spectrum in every interaction with business leaders and employees. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will directly empower our leaders and drive company success.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Manage supporting executives' correspondence, including e-mails, phone calls, letters and visitors; answer routine and some complex inquiries and obtain and furnish information on behalf of supporting executives; prioritizes supporting executives' incoming communications to ensure they are aware of key issues
  • Prepare supporting executives for travel, public events and speaking engagements by compiling relevant information and contributing content to composition of presentations, speeches or other correspondence
  • Organize and prepare complex documents requiring the integration of multiple office technology and software applications
  • Act as the supporting executives' resource for word processing, PowerPoint and spreadsheet application
  • Prepare and maintain confidential information and data
  • Schedule and maintain calendar of appointments, meetings, travel itineraries and coordinate related arrangements
  • Perform comprehensive event planning and coordination function, including determining attendees, flow of information to attendees, equipment, staffing, catering, location, etc.
  • May oversee some administrative functions for the office

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of Executive Administration experience

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks, prioritize and organize effectively, and show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
  • Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently

  • Knowledge of cable television products and services and organization policies and practices
  • Solid expertise in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

The base pay for this position generally is between $25.25 and $44.75. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
