Job summary

Heraeus Holding GmbH seeks an Executive Area Manager for Detroit to lead field sales in wound care and medical devices. You will develop sales strategies, manage key accounts, and drive revenue growth within a healthcare-focused territory.

Responsibilities include training field staff, using approved clinical materials, reporting forecasts, ensuring compliance, and collaborating across regions to capitalize on reimbursement opportunities.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in wound care field with progressive responsibilities.
• 5+ years of experience in medical sales.
• 5+ years of experience in medical device, biotechnology, and healthcare industry.
• O.R./Surgical/VAC Submission experience.
• Experience with skin substitutes preferred.
• Startup and medium-sized company experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth through deriving best practices for targeting and reimbursement.
• Contribute key learnings to the ETS team to demonstrate market understanding and strategic opportunities.
• Use approved corporate literature, scientific data, and presentations with customers.
• Provide reporting and forecasting of sales activities and territory performance.
• Demonstrate understanding of industry products, updates and market knowledge.
• Ensure all activities conform to guidelines, travel/expense, ethics and applicable laws.
• Assist with training field Area Managers and mentorship as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Use approved corporate literature, scientific data and presentations to customer and potential customers.
• Provide reporting and tracking of sales activities and territory sales forecasts based on agreed upon timelines
• Demonstrate an understanding of industry products, updates and market knowledge.
• Ensure that all activities conform to company guidelines, travel/expense guidelines compliance standards, Code of Ethics and federal/state/local laws.
• Assist with training field Area Managers, professional education and mentorship roles as needed
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Profile:

• BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent experience required
• 5+ years of experience in wound care field with progressive responsible positions and 5+ years in medical sales required
• 5+ years of experience in the medical device, biotechnology, and tissue biologics of the healthcare industry preferred
• O.R./Surgical/VAC Submission experience required
• Experience with skin substitutes preferred
• Previous experience in startup and medium sized companies
