TWG Global AI in Santa Monica, CA seeks an Executive Director on the AI Science team to lead high-impact AI and data science initiatives, shaping enterprise strategies and delivering measurable ROI.

You will mentor a small team of data scientists, collaborate with senior executives, and drive responsible AI adoption across the firm. This on-site role offers a substantial base salary and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data science or ML experience with enterprise impact.
• Proven expertise in advanced ML, causal inference, deep learning, and statistical modelling.
• Experience leading end-to-end projects and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on depth in Python or R, cloud-based platforms, and modern ML frameworks.
• Experience mentoring small teams.
• Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, CS, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead flagship AI/ML projects that drive measurable value across industries.
• Act as senior technical authority on advanced AI methods (generative AI, causal inference, LLM-based analytics).
• Translate business challenges into enterprise-level data science solutions with tangible ROI.
• Mentor and guide a small team of data scientists, fostering technical excellence and responsible AI.
• Partner with business leaders and executives to align AI initiatives with priorities.
• Represent TWG Global in external technical forums and partnerships with universities and regulators.
• Define standards for experimentation, reproducibility, and governance of AI solutions.
• Stay ahead of AI/ML trends and advise on enterprise-wide capability building.
