Synchrony is seeking an experienced executive administrative professional to support C-suite leaders in Stamford, CT. The role requires onsite presence 3-4 days per week and a strong command of Microsoft Office, calendar coordination, travel arrangements and confidential information handling.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in executive support, 3+ years with PowerPoint/Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams, and be willing to relocate to Stamford, CT if not already local.

Role Summary/Purpose

In this role you will provide administrative support servicesto T&O SLT members: Senior Vice President, Enterprise Servicing and Senior Vice President, Global Collections, Recovery & Operational Solutions. The ideal candidate must have exceptional organizational, interpersonal, communication and computer (Microsoft Office) skills, and the ability to handle confidential information and work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.

Candidates should belocated, or willing torelocate, to Stamford, CT.

This role does require the ability to be onsite 3-4 days per week.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Interact with employees, customers, outside advisors in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Effectively use computer and company software programs with strong emphasis on Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook (for appointments/email) and Concur for T&E.
  • Planning & creating meetings and managing busy and complex calendars (including frequent calendar shifts)
  • Arranging for complex travel plans and events and prepare/reconcile T&E and Purchase Card reports; Travel (book on-line flight reservations and coordinate all travel/meeting logistics)
  • Process invoices and ensure timely vendor payments
  • Coordinate activities and meetings, planning for on-site and off-site events; includes coordination with outside parties
  • Design and create presentation and proposal packages with some graphical content, as needed.
  • Ensure documents are posted accurately and timely in preparation for meetings/conference calls
  • Attend staff/team meetings as required
  • Maintain calendar for staff and department activities. Assist in prioritization of items.
  • Manage purchase order processing
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 6+ years in an executive administrative role, specifically supporting C-suite level executives
  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
  • Belocated, or willing torelocate, to Stamford, CT.
  • Availability to be onsite 3-4 days per week.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
