Job summary

The Tomah VA Medical Center in Wisconsin seeks an energetic and visionary Associate Chief of Staff for Medicine Service (ACOS MS) to join the Chief of Staff and Executive Leadership in guiding the Health Care System. This federal role offers recruitment/relocation incentives and a contract buy-out program.

Responsibilities include administrative and clinical leadership of Medicine Service across multiple sites, mentoring staff, and advancing evidence-based care while maintaining a small clinical

Qualifications

• US citizenship or VA eligibility for employment.
• Full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Experience in leadership roles within a medical service or VA environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical leadership for Medicine Service across five sites.
• Plan and implement initiatives to coordinate services and improve care for Veterans.
• Mentor staff, ensure evidence-based practices, and oversee provider education.
• Balance clinical duties (~20%) with administrative responsibilities (~80%).
