Position: Executive Accounting Manager

Note: We consider remote employment only from CA, OR, WA, or NC.

The Executive Accounting Manager will oversee all accounting functions, improve operations, and ensure accuracy and timeliness. The role supervises the accounts receivable and royalties accounting manager, works with a part-time accounts payable clerk, and the inventory manager. See the detailed job description below.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in general ledger accounting, financial statements, and monthly closes
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
  • Deep knowledge of accrual accounting and terminology
  • Expertise in accounting software, databases, spreadsheets, and productivity tools
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Experience with data entry and report creation from databases
  • Proven track record of accuracy, timeliness, and responsibility
  • Experience in book publishing is a plus but not required
