Job summary

Baker Hughes Gruppe is seeking a senior director-level leader to own and optimize business operations across a global context. The role focuses on strategy, profitability, and transformation initiatives to drive long-term value.

You will lead diverse teams, manage budgets and forecasts, and partner with stakeholders to deliver exceptional outcomes while advancing a culture of accountability and customer focus.

Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities

• Develop and execute business strategies that drive revenue growth, operational excellence, and long-term profitability.
• Own plant product line P&L, budgets, forecasts and development and implementation of strategy.
• Lead cross-functional teams across operations, project management, manufacturing, and customer-facing organizations to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
• Optimize operational structures, processes, and resource allocation to improve efficiency, scalability, and market responsiveness.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen business performance, increase productivity, and enhance financial results.
• Establish and maintain disciplined operating rhythms, performance metrics, and accountability frameworks to ensure execution excellence.
• Lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, including business process standardization and technology modernization programs.
• Drive successful implementation and adoption of integrated business systems to improve visibility, decision‑making, and operational effectiveness.
• Build and develop high‑performing leadership teams while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer focus.
• Partner with global and regional stakeholders to align organizational capabilities with strategic business objectives and growth opportunities.
• Oversee all aspects of the business through strategic leadership and effective tactical management.
• Coach, engage and direct staff to deliver operational results that meet and exceed organizational expectations for the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including safety, quality, cost, delivery, training, compliance, on‑time delivery, overdue backlog, NPS, communications, etc.

Desired Characteristics

• Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and in case of a managerial role, to have experience of atleast 2+ years managing teams .
