Brunel Energy is recruiting an Execution Completions Engineer II to work on a 1-year contract in Spring, TX. The role focuses on detailed engineering designs and coordinating all phases of well planning and execution.

You will ensure designs meet geological and reservoir objectives while upholding safety, environmental protections, and high engineering integrity. Collaboration with safety, operations, and JV partners is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience with completion design; subsea systems knowledge is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English for technical and business contexts.

Brunel Energy is recruiting an Execution Completions Engineer II to work with a major oil and gas company on a 1-year contract in Spring, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed engineering designs and coordinate all phases of well planning and execution.
• Ensure well designs and execution plans meet geological and reservoir objectives while maintaining high standards of engineering integrity, safety, and environmental protection.
• Develop cost-effective well designs and investment plans.
• Collaborate with safety, environmental, and field operations personnel to optimize safety performance.
• Support new completions and workovers, including project execution, post-project evaluations, and capital project financial accruals.
• Serve as the engineering liaison with joint venture partners.
• Identify opportunities to apply completion technologies to reduce costs and improve execution efficiency.
• Prepare cost analyses and estimates for completion activities and work with the Drilling team to plan completion costs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Extensive knowledge of completion design, equipment, operations, standards, and specifications; experience with subsea systems technology may also be relevant.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities.
• Fluency in written and spoken English, particularly for technical and business communications.
