Job summary

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies in Fairfield, OH is seeking an excess and surplus team assistant to provide basic clerical and administrative support to underwriting assistant teams. The position pays $18.00 - $19.50 hourly, with eligibility for an annual cash bonus based on performance and location factors.

Key duties include labeling and uploading documents, creating basic policy shells in our broker management system, processing Loss Runs, Premium Finance Notices, and simple address-change

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or aptitude to learn.
• Attention to detail and ability to perform simple tasks accurately.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to work in an office environment.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using computers or learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Document labeling and uploading into a document management system.
• Creation of basic insurance policy shells using our broker management system.
• Process requests for Loss Runs.
• Process Premium Finance Notices.
• Process simple requests for mailing address changes.
• Send email follow ups to underwriters using templates for needed forms and information.
• Other clerical tasks as needed in support of the underwriter assistant workflow.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50 hourly. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and individual performance.
