Excess & Surplus - Senior Production Excess Casualty Underwriter

Join us at The Cincinnati Insurance Companies as an Excess & Surplus - Senior Production Excess Casualty Underwriter.

This role involves reviewing and analyzing underwriting data to determine risk suitability, setting appropriate terms and rates within our binding authority agreements. Candidates must reside near our Fairfield, OH headquarters.

Salary: $75,000 - $115,000 annually, with potential bonuses and incentives based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Partner with underwriters and producers to solicit, underwrite, and price surplus lines excess casualty business.
2. Develop and evaluate account exposures within our appetite.
3. Achieve production and loss ratio goals.
4. Work independently with high judgment.
5. Build strong relationships with team members, agents, and producers.
6. Serve as a training resource for the underwriting team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or extensive relevant underwriting experience.
