Job summary

Pinon Unified School District is seeking a Health Aide to join our team. The Health Aide will assist students with health, safety, and well-being to maintain a healthy learning environment.

Responsibilities include administering first aid, monitoring health, maintaining health records, coordinating with families and professionals, and supporting a safe school environment. Training staff on first aid and emergency procedures is also expected.

Qualifications

• A. A. Degree or 60 semester hours or have passed Arizona State Approved Para-Professional Exam.
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent program.
• Experience in working with students with disabilities.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Your role will be crucial in maintaining a healthy and safe learning environment. We are a primary/secondary education organization that has been dedicated to providing quality education to our community for almost 30 years. Our organization started as Piñon Elementary School in 1984 under the Cedar Public School District No. 25. We have since expanded to three campuses and now provide education to students from preschool to 12th grade.
