Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking an Exceptional Children Coordinating Teacher to support EC programming in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. You will coordinate IEP development, attend meetings, and collaborate with compliance facilitators to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.

The role requires at least three years of teaching experience, a valid NC Special Education license is preferred, and you will work under moderate supervision to maintain effective special education services

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least three years of teaching experience.
• Master's in Special Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to state, federal, and local laws and policies.
• Develop, coordinate, and monitor IEPs and attend meetings.
• Schedule EC staff and resources across schools.
• Collaborate with compliance facilitators on paperwork.
• Support improvement plans and monitor progress.
• Lead professional development related to instruction and accountability.
• Maintain dashboards and data for planning and reporting.
• Act as liaison between schools and EC department.
• Travel to district meetings as required.
