Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Specialist to maintain inventory on commodity items, finished goods and project gear. The role involves daily, weekly and monthly audits, pulling/packing orders, and maintaining orderly stock while supporting procurement and receiving teams.

Work shifts run 6 am–6 pm or 6 pm–6 am, Monday to Friday, with possible nights, weekends and holidays based on demand. OSHA safety rules and 5S practices are emphasized throughout the role.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: At least 5 years in a related area; planning, supply chain, inventory management, logistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and maintains inventory system; upgrades database/software under the guidance of the purchasing or inventory control manager.
  • Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items for automatic, recurring delivery.
  • Provides inventory reports to receiving supervisor and procurement teams.
  • Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
  • Maintains consistent stock of inventory.
  • Pulls and packs product based on daily orders.
  • Keeps products separated, organized and in good rotation.
  • Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and helps identify process improvements.
  • Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
  • Participates in periodic physical inventory audits (daily, weekly, monthly, annual).
  • Operates material handling equipment (forklifts, telehandlers, hand trucks, etc.). Maintains a clean, sanitary and safe work area.
  • Places materials at point of use in assembly and warehouse environment.
  • Maintains compliance with OSHA and company safety requirements.
  • Ensure proper safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Actively maintains 5S principles throughout the work area.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: At 5 least years of experience in a related area. Planning, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Logistics experience preferred.

Travel: 0-10%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, or 6 pm to 6 am Monday through Friday depending on assigned shift. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays.
