Job summary

YO IT Consulting is seeking an Excel Specialist for a remote contract role. You will design and simulate advanced business scenarios using Excel, PowerPoint and Word, mirroring challenges from Fortune 500 projects.

You will work with an LLM, evaluate AI-generated outputs against standards, and provide detailed feedback with side-by-side comparisons. Strong communication and analytical skills across finance, operations, and HR are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in Fortune 500 environments using Excel, PowerPoint and Word on high-impact projects.
• Expertise in creating complex models, reports, analyses, and presentations across industries.
• Background in business roles with hands-on deal or project work (e.g., private equity, investment banking, FP&A, HR, marketing).
• Proficiency in designing use cases for strategy, operations, sales, marketing, finance or HR.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with keen attention to detail.
• Experience interacting with LLMs or writing long-form prompts is a strong plus.

• Background in business roles such as private equity associate, investment banking analyst, junior consultant, FP&A analyst, HR, or marketing strategist, with hands‑on involvement in deal or project work.
• Proficiency in designing use cases reflecting functions like strategy, operations, sales, marketing, finance, or HR.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and clarity in articulating feedback.
• Experience interacting with LLMs or writing long‑form prompts for AI tools is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to evaluate nuanced differences in document quality and business applicability.
