Allied Water Services Inc. seeks an experienced Equipment Operator with a valid Class A CDL to join our field crew.

This role involves operating heavy equipment, transporting gear to job sites, and supporting sewer, septic, excavation, and underground utility projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on equipment experience, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision on active projects.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• 3-5 years hands-on experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Previous commercial driving experience.
• Ability to safely operate around underground utilities and active sites.
• Physically able to work outdoors in varying weather and conditions.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, skid steers, and other machinery.
• Safely drive CDL-A vehicles to transport equipment, materials, and supplies to job sites.
• Load, unload, secure, and transport equipment per safety regs.
• Assist with excavation, trenching, grading, and site preparation.
• Support sewer and septic system installations, repairs, and replacements.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and address maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain equipment in clean, safe working condition and follow plans and site instructions.
• Coordinate with crew members to complete projects efficiently and safely.

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator with a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) to join our team. This position involves operating heavy equipment, driving commercial vehicles, and supporting sewer, septic, excavation, and underground utility projects.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating construction equipment, transporting equipment and materials, and working safely and efficiently on active job sites. We are looking for a dependable, safety-conscious professional who can work independently, follow directions, and contribute to daily field operations with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, skid steers, and other construction machinery.
• Safely drive and operate CDL-A commercial vehicles to transport equipment, materials, and supplies to job sites.
• Load, unload, secure, and transport equipment and materials in accordance with safety regulations.
• Assist with excavation, trenching, grading, site preparation, and underground utility work.
• Support sewer and septic system installations, repairs, and replacements.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain equipment in clean, safe, and proper working condition.
• Follow job plans, site instructions, and established safety procedures.
• Work closely with laborers and crew members to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Perform additional field duties as needed to support company operations.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) required.
• 3-5 years previous hands-on experience operating heavy construction equipment required.
• Previous commercial driving experience required.
• Ability to safely operate equipment around underground utilities, structures, and active job sites.
• Knowledge of equipment loading, load securement, and safe transportation practices.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions.Strong awareness of job-site safety and equipment operation procedures.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in sewer, septic, excavation, or underground utility work.
• Experience transporting heavy equipment using trailers.
• Knowledge of excavation, trenching, grading, and site preparation.
• Current medical certification and a driving record that meet applicable commercial driving requirements.
• Additional equipment operating experience or relevant certifications.
