Job summary

Mackellar is seeking experienced mining operators to join the Carmichael site. You will operate 400+ tonne excavators and large dozers, contributing to ramped-up production while following safety procedures and site rules.

FIFO flights are available from Townsville, Rockhampton or Cairns, with an on-site village, meals, gym and recreation facilities. Join a safety-focused team and seize opportunities for upskilling and promotion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience operating 400+ tonne large open cut mining excavators and large mining dozers.
• RII competencies (or verified training transcript within past 5 years).
• Current Standard 11 and Driver's Licence.
• A strong commitment to safety at all times.
• Team-focused attitude and flexibility to get the job done.
• Willingness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Operate 400+ tonne excavators and large mining dozers on site.
• Maintain safety standards and follow site procedures.
• Collaborate with team to achieve ramp-up production targets.

• $69.28 p/h ($157,612 annually) + Super paid on all rostered hours
• FIFO flights from Townsville, Rockhampton or Cairns
• 7/7 roster with optional OT on day shift
• Camp, pit & airport all within 5 mins - no long travel days
• Onsite village with great meals, gym & rec areas
• New fleet of machines built for safety, comfort & efficiency
• Genuine upskilling and promotion opportunities

With production in full swing at our site in the Galilee Basin, we're expanding our team and looking for experienced operators to join us.
