Job summary

Shirley Contracting Company, LLC is seeking a skilled heavy equipment operator for varied, year-round onsite work across multiple sites in the US. You will operate excavators, loaders, dozers, and motor graders, perform routine maintenance, and keep equipment clean while adhering to safety standards.

Applicants must pass a pre-employment physical/drug screening. Work hours start early with overtime, nights, and weekends possible; a competitive salary and full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience running heavy equipment on site.
• GPS/UTS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers and motor graders.
• Perform general maintenance including greasing and checking fluid levels.
• Daily equipment cleaning and upkeep.
• Report deficiencies to foreman immediately.
• Willing to perform manual labor to support projects.
• Maintain health and safety policies and a positive relationship with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers and motor graders.
• Perform general maintenance including greasing, checking fluid levels, and cleaning of tracks.
• Daily cleaning of equipment.
• Report deficiencies to foreman immediately.
• Must be willing to perform manual labor related tasks to support projects.
• Ensure the company’s health and safety culture, policies and requirements are met.
• Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with customer and co-workers.

Job Type: Full-Time, Year-Round

Location: Various Jobsites

Working Hours: Start varies between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM. Overtime, nights and weekends may be required.

Applicants must be 18 years of age and currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis in order to be considered.

For this role the base hourly range is $22.00-$35.00 per hour. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
