Job summary

WW Clyde in Arizona is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our field team. The role requires a minimum of five years of hands-on experience operating excavators and reading construction plans, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

You'll perform daily inspections, operate equipment safely to meet schedule and budget, coordinate with management and subcontractors, and support continuous improvement on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating an excavator
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Strong communication skills
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze project data
• A commitment to safety at all times

Responsibilities

• Daily proper inspections to ensure the equipment is properly maintained
• Operating equipment safely and efficiently to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budget
• Work closely with management and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed to the highest level of quality
• Operate equipment to perform activities such as excavating and grading, and backfilling excavations
• Ability to move materials, earth, and other heavy objects as needed
• Other duties as assigned
