Horizon Services, LLC. is seeking an Excavation Operator (Residential Plumber) to join the Dig Crew and perform sewer line replacements, water line installations, and related underground work.

This full-time, year-round position offers stability and growth within a trusted home services provider. You will operate heavy equipment, follow dig plans, and maintain safety on site while contributing to high-quality customer service and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Plumbing, sewer, or underground utility experience preferred.
• Excavation or construction experience is a plus.
• Driver's license required.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsabilités

• Assist with excavation and sewer/water line replacement projects.
• Operate and support excavation equipment (backhoes, loaders, etc.).
• Inspect equipment before use and ensure safe operation.
• Read and follow dig plans, job specs, and safety procedures.
• Follow grade stakes, markings and hand signals for accuracy.
• Assist with material handling and site prep.
• Maintain a safe and professional job site environment.

What You'll Do

As a member of our Dig Crew, you'll play a critical role in excavation projects, sewer line replacements, water line installations, and other underground utility work.

Responsibilities Include

• Assisting with excavation and sewer/water line replacement projects
• Operating and supporting excavation equipment, including backhoes, loaders, and other heavy machinery
• Inspecting equipment before use and ensuring safe operation
• Reading and following dig plans, job specifications, and safety procedures
• Understanding machine capabilities and proper excavation techniques
• Following grade stakes, markings, and hand signals to ensure accurate work
• Assisting with material handling and site preparation
• Maintaining a safe and professional job site environment
