Job summary

Penguin Air, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking an Excavation Installation Apprentice. You will work alongside experienced technicians to learn underground utility installation, from excavation to backfilling.

The role is dispatched from home with a work vehicle provided, offering hands-on training and growth opportunities. This entry-level position includes exposure to water, sewer, and drainage installations, with emphasis on safety, tool use, and on-site teamwork.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment background check.
• Pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with excavation, grading, trenching, and backfilling tasks.
• Help install utilities such as water, sewer, or drainage systems.
• Load, unload, and stage materials and tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Operate hand tools and assist equipment operators as directed.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times.
