Job summary

The University of Iowa College of Law seeks temporary exam proctors for final exams conducted December 7–18, 2026. Shifts start at 7:30am on exam days and extend into the afternoon, with training in November.

Exam Proctor

The University of Iowa College of Law is seeking individuals on a temporary basis to proctor College of Law final exams. The exam period is December 7-18, 2026. Each exam may require a time commitment starting at 7:30am on exam dates and continuing into the afternoon. Schedules will be arranged based upon need and availability, so flexibility is a must. A training session will be held during November.

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Be positive and respectful in working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives
• The ability to carry up to 10 pounds while moving about a classroom and on stairs
• A flexible schedule during the two-week exam period
• Ability to manage large groups of people

Desired Qualifications

• Previous teaching or classroom management experience

Wage
