Job summary

Delan Associates, Inc. seeks a senior Software Development Engineer (L5) to join a Hybrid team in Irvine, CA. The role focuses on building platform features for a scalable inventory/ vendor system using Amazon Builder Tools within the AWS ecosystem.

Expect collaboration on AI integration, DevOps, testing, and delivering high-quality code. Candidate must have former Amazon experience or long-term AWS involvement, and strong back-end with Java/Python plus front-end using ReactJS.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as an SDE, with at least 1+ year of experience using Amazon Builder Tools at Amazon or AWS.
• Experience with designing and building complex software applications and features at Amazon's quality bar.
• Experience developing with AWS CDK.
• Familiarity with the full life cycle of software development, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
• Experience with AWS services specifically Lambda and Step Functions (SQS, CDK, Lambda, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch also nice to have)
• Proficiency in Node, React, and/or Typescript

Responsibilities

• Join a TGS project team focused on new platform and feature enhancements to an existing system.
• Build new code at Amazon quality bar and assist with AI integration, DevOps, Testing, and other standard responsibilities for an Amazon SDE.
• Work on a full stack project with AWS development services (CDK, SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch).
