Job summary

Web Business Solutions seeks an EWS Writer to provide editorial, publishing, writing instruction, and academic support for Expeditionary Warfare School distance education materials and online writing resources. You will edit exams and courseware revisions, paginate documents, and assemble original course books and exams electronically.

The role requires five years of professional writing/editing experience, familiarity with editing technical and government publications, and a minimum Tier 1

Qualifications

• Five years of professional writing and editing experience.
• Experience editing technical, academic, military, or government publications.
• Active Secret clearance required before supporting classified events or tasks.
• Graduate of Expeditionary Warfare School (EWS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Edit exams and courseware revisions.
• Paginate courseware.
• Assemble original course books and exams electronically.
• Convert text files into mobile e-book formats (e.g., MOODLE).
• Reformat courseware to MS Word and PDF after obtaining copyright permissions.
• Coordinate copyright requests with curriculum SMEs and MCU copyright clerk.
• Maintain an archive of copyright permissions.
