A Carter Lumber EWP Sawyer will cut i-joists to specifications to ensure a quality product is produced. Projects are standard set up and generally routine based. Completes tasks as directed with minimal supervision.

A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position. Responsibilities include sawing, reading cut sheets, setting up machines, maintaining inventory, and meeting daily production goals, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork in variable

Qualifications

• Ability to perform repetitious work with manual dexterity.
• Reads cut sheets to determine material specs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures while handling saws and tools is a plus.
• Willingness to work in inclement weather.

Responsabilités

• Sawing i-joists to specifications.
• Reads cut sheets to determine amount, size and grade needed.
• Sets up machines to ensure accurate cuts.
• Maintains inventory with accurate product counts.
