C5MI Insight is a high‑performance SAP and supply chain consultancy hiring an EWM Support Consultant III. You will handle moderately complex SAP EWM issues, own deliverables, perform deep root‑cause analysis, and design fixes and minor enhancements.
You will also mentor junior consultants to help clients maintain stable warehouse operations. The role requires travel up to 25–50% to client sites for onsite go‑live and hypercare support.

The EWM Support Consultant III handles moderately complex SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) support issues with minimal oversight. This individual owns support deliverables, performs in-depth root cause analysis, designs and configures fixes and minor enhancements, and informally mentors junior consultants to help clients maintain stable and efficient warehouse operations.
Performs hypercare support and resolves complex live system issues in the initial weeks following SAP EWM implementations.
Owns resolution of moderately complex and high-priority support tickets from diagnosis through deployment, exercising judgment within defined support practices.
Performs in-depth root cause analysis across EWM configuration, master data, S/4HANA or ECC interfaces, and custom objects and coordinates permanent fixes with development teams.
Configures EWM solutions and designs fixes and minor enhancements, including functional specifications for development teams.
Identifies recurring issues and trends and recommends process or system improvements that reduce ticket volume.
Tracks system performance to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Leads testing of fixes, patches, and enhancements, including regression testing, and validates results with business users.
Collaborates with clients, business stakeholders, development teams, and project managers to maintain and enhance system performance.
Mentors EWM Support Consultants I and II informally and reviews their resolutions and documentation.
Documents support processes, system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, resolutions, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Applies software updates and security patches as needed to ensure system integrity.
Travels up to 25-50% to client sites to provide onsite go-live and hypercare support.
Adheres to all certified processes as part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and information security, which includes actively participating in quality assurance activities and ensuring the protection of sensitive information in accordance with our security policies.
Performs other related tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or a related field and 3-5 years of relevant experience, including SAP EWM configuration and troubleshooting, OR 5-7 years of relevant experience without a bachelor’s degree.
Background or education in logistics, distribution, MIS, IT, or a related field.
SAP EWM certification required; if not currently certified, must obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
Strong understanding of SAP EWM and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Experience owning deliverables and solving moderately complex problems.
Organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple support tickets simultaneously and prioritize urgent issues effectively.
Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Ability to work collaboratively in diverse, cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities effectively.
A self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active government clearance (requires U.S. citizenship).
Experience on at least one full-lifecycle SAP EWM implementation.
Experience with RF framework, Post Processing Framework (PPF), or Material Flow System (MFS).
Ability to read and debug ABAP code.
Experience working with the Department of Defense or another federal agency.
In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $115,000 – $130,000 annually. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
