Job summary

Entegee is seeking an experienced aircraft cabinetry design engineer to develop and modify interior cabinetry using CATIA, leverage 3DEXPERIENCE, and support integration across engineering, manufacturing, and interiors teams. The role requires deep knowledge of EWIS and wire harness routing, plus experience with aircraft interiors and OEM coordination.

You will work on complex assignments, participate in design reviews, and ensure compliance with certification requirements throughout the product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of applicable aircraft design experience preferred.
• CATIA and 3DEXPERIENCE proficiency required.
• Strong EWIS knowledge and wire harness experience preferred.
• Experience with aircraft interiors and cabinetry design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify aircraft cabinetry designs using CATIA and related tools.
• Support design and integration of aircraft interior cabinetry and components.
• Interpret requirements, specs, drawings, and standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, interiors, electrical, and other teams.
• Participate in design reviews and resolve issues.
• Create and maintain 3D models and drawings and related documentation.
• Ensure designs meet aircraft design standards and certification considerations.
• Support configuration changes and design updates through product lifecycle.
• Apply EWIS best practices to wire harness routing and installation when applicable.
• Work independently on complex assignments and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Job description

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering or another applicable engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Two years of relevant work experience may be considered equivalent to one year toward the degree requirement.
• 5+ years of applicable aircraft design experience, ideally with a corporate aircraft.
• Strong hands-on experience with CATIA.
• Experience developing and modifying aircraft 3D models and engineering drawings.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing organizations.
• Ability to independently manage engineering assignments and work within established project schedules and requirements.
• Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX).
• Wire harness design experience within an aerospace or aircraft environment.
• Strong knowledge of EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System) rules, requirements, and best practices.
• Experience with aircraft electrical systems integration and wire harness routing/installation.
• Experience with corporate aircraft interiors and cabinetry design.
• Experience working directly with aircraft OEM engineering organizations.
• Experience supporting aircraft certification, production, or engineering change processes.

• Support configuration changes, engineering changes, and design updates throughout the product lifecycle.
• For candidates supporting electrical-related design activities, apply EWIS requirements and best practices to wire harness routing, installation, and integration.
• Work independently on complex engineering assignments while communicating progress, issues, and technical recommendations to project stakeholders.
