Torch Technologies is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer/Requirements Developer to join our team at Robins AFB, GA. The role focuses on applying simulation to support mission readiness, sensor integration, and EMSO capabilities for USAF missions.

Responsibilities include leading EW/EMSO system engineering, conducting trade studies, and developing verification methods. A Secret clearance is required with Top Secret/SCI desirable, onsite at Warner Robins AFB with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in the applicable discipline.
• Strong knowledge of EW/EMSO concepts, mission systems, and operational applications.
• Experience in modeling and simulation for electronic systems using MATLAB, AFSIM, STK, or equivalent.
• Experience with RF systems, antenna design, radar systems, or EO/IR sensors.
• Understanding of weapon system integration processes and military system architecture frameworks.
• Ability to perform systems analysis, requirements derivation, and trade-off studies.
• Strong problem-solving, technical writing, and communication skills.
• Must have experience with modeling and simulation.
• Prior work with Air Force weapon systems integration, testing and evaluation is required.
• Must have hands-on experience with sensor technologies, signal processing and data analysis.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI.

Responsabilités

• Apply engineering expertise in modeling and simulation to support mission readiness, assessments, and capability development.
• Lead EW/EMSO systems engineering efforts, including sensor development and supporting infrastructure.
• Design, develop, integrate, and sustain EW/EMSO capabilities for USAF missions.
• Integrate modeling tools to assess system performance in operational scenarios.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet mission objectives and standards.
• Conduct trade studies, performance analyses, and system evaluations for acquisition decisions.
• Apply simulation results to tactics development and mission planning.
• Engineer, test, and evaluate RF, EO/IR, and other sensing technologies for EW/EMSO missions.
• Coordinate with industry and DoW on technology insertion and prototyping.
• Provide SME on sensor data processing, fusion, and exploitation for operational advantage.
• Provide guidance to PMs and operators on EW/EMSO engineering considerations.
• Develop test plans, verification methods, and acceptance criteria for mission systems.
• Prepare technical briefings, reports, and recommendations to leadership.
