Job summary

King & George, LLC is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician II to perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repair on a variety of fleet vehicles and specialized equipment. Under general supervision, you will ensure vehicles are operational and safe while addressing emergency situations as needed.

This role requires a high school diploma, EVT Certification, and at least two years of related experience. Ideal candidates will have strong skills in vehicle maintenance and repair with the capability to operate diagnostic tools effectively.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate and give instruction for proper operation of vehicles and equipment.
• Ability to diagnose failure from trade knowledge and use diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repair on vehicles and equipment.
• Service vehicles and perform preventive maintenance.
• Repair and rebuild engine and various components of vehicles.

Skills

Ability to operate light and medium vehicles

Ability to diagnose vehicle and equipment failures

Knowledge of machines and tools

Ability to explain and demonstrate policies

Ability to perform basic math calculations

Ability to recognize fluid characteristics

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

At least two years of related experience

ASE Certification (preferred)

EVT Certification (required)
