Job summary

HDR is seeking an Electrical Design Coordinator in the Transportation Electrification practice. You will support planning and design of EV charging infrastructure, collaborate with senior engineers, and prepare electrical design documents for public, fleet, and workplace charging projects.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with electrical emphasis, strong CAD skills, and a passion for HDR’s employee-owned culture and mobility-focused engineering

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
Desire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain registration.
Strong computer skills using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI and Easy Power.
Active participation in HDR's employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

Support the planning and design of EV charging infrastructure, including public, fleet, and workplace charging.
Perform electrical design tasks under the direction of senior electrical engineers (sizing, calculations, one-line diagrams, protection, grounding).
Prepare schedules, design details, cost estimates, specifications, and final design plans.
Coordinate with utilities, equipment manufacturers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
